How do I Validate my Identity if I have an ID Card?

If you have a National Identity Card

You will be required to take separate images of the front and the back side of the document. Please make sure
the ID card is valid (do not send in expired documents)
the ID card is not altered (nothing is inscribed on the document)
the image is complete (all four corners of the document should be visible and the image should be full size)
document is not cropped
the image is in colour and of high quality (if you are using the camera on your smartphone, please make sure the flash is not covering information on the document).

Verification Declined

If the photo of the document or selfie you submitted is poor quality, we may not be able to complete the verification on the first attempt. In this case, you’ll be able to re-attempt verification.

As a reminder, please check that your documents and photos meet the abovementioned requirements before re-submitting them.

Sometimes, we may not be able to automatically verify your identity. In such cases, click on "I Need Help" which will upload the documents and pictures for manual review. Reviews can take up to 24 hours to be completed by our team.

You will receive a notification once your details have been verified.
