How to send a payment request?

The Diool payment request is a safe and easy way for your customers to pay you via their mobile money account or at a Diool point. It is also an efficient way for you to track and reconcile payments received.

A payment link in can be created easily by selecting a customer and filling in some details such as the amount you request and the expiry date of the link. Your customer can then pay you in 2 ways:

👉🏾 For Diool customers : either directly from their Diool account or by visiting a Diool point
👉🏾 For others: either by mobile money or by visiting a Diool point

This is how to send a request for payment.

On the Web App

From the home page, click on Payment request.

Click on Payment request and then on External request.

Select an existing contact or choose New Recipient to send to a new contact

If this is the first time you are requesting payment from this customer, fill in their details and click Next.

Fill in the payment details including the deadline and click on Send request.

Send a payment link

You can also click on Save for later to save the request for payment and send it later.
The recipient will receive an e-mail with the details of the payment request and information on how to make the payment.

On the mobil App

To send a payment request on the mobile application, please first add the recipient to your contacts. See Add a Contact
